Transportation Services Launched
The Visual Pak Companies (www.visualpak.com), Waukegan, IL, has formed a new transportation services company called Visual Pak Logistics. The new company provides customers with tailored transportation services that complement and complete Visual Pak’s existing logistics services, including pick/pack/ship distribution, warehousing, reverse logistics, cross-docking, and postponement.
“Top consumer products companies today are looking for partners whose off erings are wide and deep,” says Clayton Bolke, Visual Pak chief executive officer. “By adding a trucking capability, we are able to fill that gap and provide a more comprehensive off ering that simplifies the process and takes cost out of the supply chain.” The move further positions Visual Pak as a single-source provider of contract packaging and manufacturing services.

The optimal solution can vary by customer, and by project.
